Connect both sides of the map seamlessly. Wrap the 2D flat map like it was a 3D object
#1911
The idea is to implement a method in FMG by which the program seamlessly connects both sides of the map. This system needs to be aware of what's at one end of the map and check if, in "Menu > Options > Configure World," the map dimensions are set so that the map covers the entire longitude and/or latitude of the world. If it does cover the entire world, the map must have features and systems that connect one end to the other. Graphically, this means wrapping the 2D flat map as if it were a 3D object. This will create the effect that the map is actually the surface of a 3D object.
For those who prefer a more traditional approach, an on/off switch can be added before creating the map to maintain the previous procedure for flat-Earth worlds. The current method of connecting the two ends of the map is implemented for those who want the map representing a 3D globe.
