Summary

  • gym extra: stop requiring \pygame\ directly. \gymnasium[box2d]\ 1.3 depends on \pygame-ce, and the two install over each other, so rendering the README's Pendulum quick start crashed. The wheel and sdist smoke tests in CI now render that env from a fresh [gym]\ install.
  • Distribution rename: the PyPI package is now \synora-world\ (\pip install synora-world, extras as \synora-world[gym]). \import synora\ and the \synora\ / \synora-train\ commands are unchanged. Updated the README, docs, install hints in error messages, the CI wheel/sdist globs (\synora_world-*) and \uv.lock. ## Testing
  • \pytest tests/test_optional_dependencies.py tests/test_public_api.py tests/test_audit_regressions.py tests/test_type_stub.py: 64 passed
  • \uv build\ produces \synora_world-1.0.0-py3-none-any.whl\ and .tar.gz"

The gym extra no longer requires pygame directly; gymnasium[box2d] brings its own renderer (pygame-ce on 1.3), and installing both crashed rendering. The PyPI distribution is renamed from synora to synora-world. The import package (import synora) and the synora / synora-train CLI commands are unchanged.
