When I click “Start Application” for Sonic Heroes, Reloaded-II immediately closes without any error window or log message. Sonic Heroes runs fine when launched directly via Tsonic_win.exe, but not when started through Reloaded-II.
I'm running Windows 11, using Reloaded 1.30.2. Installed .NET Desktop Runtime 5.x x64 & x86 and Visual C++ Redistributable 2015–2022 x64 & x86
To Reproduce
- Install Reloaded-II from the official GitHub releases page into a new folder.
- Remove old configuration from %AppData%\Roaming\Reloaded-II / %AppData%\Local\Reloaded-II so Reloaded-II starts “fresh”
- Start Reloaded-II.
- Add Sonic Heroes as an application, pointing to Tsonic_win.exe.
- Make sure there are no mods enabled for Sonic Heroes (fresh setup).
- Click “Start Application”.
Expected Behaviour
Sonic Heroes should start and show a window, or at least show an error popup if something fails.
Actual behavior
Reloaded-II closes instantly.
No error popup appears, no “Stuck in Download Loop” window, nothing.
Sonic Heroes does not start.
Things I already tried
Verified Sonic Heroes works when run directly via Tsonic_win.exe (without Reloaded-II).
Completely deleted the old Reloaded-II Release folder and AppData config, then reinstalled the latest release.
Reinstalled .NET Desktop Runtime (x86 and x64) and Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributables (x86 and x64), then rebooted.
Previously had a “Stuck in dependency download loop” for Reloaded.Memory.SigScan.ReloadedII and reloaded.sharedlib.csharp.prs, but even with a fresh install and without mods, Reloaded-II still closes instantly on launch.
Extra info
If you tell me how to enable logging or where to find crash logs for Reloaded-II, I can attach those as well
