Splide vor Vue: Moving pagination outside a slide

By default, the pagination is nested inside the current slide:

What is the easiest way to move it outside the slides, so it appears below of them?
I'm using Splide for Vue.

Update: Addind this CSS works but arrow position neeeds to be manually corrected then.

.splide__slide {
  margin-bottom: 35px !important;
}

It needs to be added to the imported css file, not between the scoped style tags of a component.
There might be a better alternative though.
