About the project

This game pays homage to the history of video games that were notably, infamously bad. York Truck Simulator is an endless** runner style game where you drive a big truck and avoid road blocks while picking up Atari 2600 game cartridges. Running over road blocks will slow you down, so try to complete your drive with the fastest time possible with as many cartridges collected as you can for the high score. This game takes inspiration from the 2003 hit Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, which serves as a reminder that games don't have to be good to be immortalized.

Multimodal Rudeness Detector

This program detects rudeness via:

• Realtime Speech to Text
• Computer Vision via webcam
• Key Logging

Upon detecting something sufficiently rude via one of these mechanisms, it notifies the user of the crimes they've committed via a pop-up window. After a brief delay to contemplate their rudeness, the program shuts the computer off to punish the user.
