Question - is it still maintained

Hi. I wonder if this library is still maintained. In readme it says:

The current version of php-encryption is v2.4.0. This library is expected to remain stable and supported by its authors with security and bugfixes until at least January 1st, 2024.

I wonder if there are plans to support it further? Thank you

The Defuse website says:

While the PHP encryption library linked below is still maintained, you probably want to use Halite instead

If any serious issues come up, I'll fix them, so it's still maintained, but consider it frozen in the current state (no new features).
