Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<'

I keep receiving this message in the console (Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<')

P.S. It doesn't affect the operation of the component at all and the component is working fine.

Up one for this issue. as we have some pre filled content that contains > - the < coming from the not properly loaded jodit config and the one from the html content close each other and pose a real issue.

on build these are the errors visible in the console-

GET https:///static/js/config.js net::ERR_ABORTED 404 (Not Found)
Refused to execute script from 'https:///static/js/config.js' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.
Uncaught (in promise) Event {isTrusted: true, originalEvent: Event, type: 'error', target: script, currentTarget: null, …}

I am very confident the config.js that isn't found tries to load upon displaying the jodit editor

@Maddumage after some investigating it turns out the jodit-pro-react (at least that is the package we use) tries to load a config.js file that is non existent. My theory is that now there is a config.ts - I don't see any functionality affected by this.

Still, having to deal with console errors in production because of this is frustrating and I also don't have a clean fix for this yet.

Having the same issue, just override beforeInitHook function to prevent default behavior.

Jodit.prototype.beforeInitHook = function () {
    // do nothing
};
