'Selected' Orphan Files will not delete

I have selected multiple Orphaned Files and as you can see by the screenshot when i click on 'Remove Selected (7)' nothing happens. Also the 'Select All', 'Scan for Orphans,' and 'Ignore Selected' buttons always appear as if they are ghosted or disabled. Is this by design? I would see that when select files those buttons should be come visibly active?

If i hide the left menu then it works.
