Upstreaming bitmap subtitle controls to Kodi master?

[cinema-ONE]

Hi @pannal,
I have installed the latest build on my AM6B+, and found the settings for bitmap-based subtitles (PGS / VobSub) very helpful, especially zoom and brightness. Thank you for implementing those!
Have you considered "upstreaming" those settings / functions to mainline Kodi? I think Kodi would profit from this, but I have no idea how much work would be involved.
