OpenViking fail to pull images when pulling files from a remote Git repository #6276

Hi shihuan-alt! Interesting question! I'd first separate two possibilities: whether the image files are being downloaded from Git at all, or whether OpenViking downloads them but doesn't import them as resources. The README documents importing remote repositories, but I couldn't confirm from the available documentation that this import path supports every image format. A few things I'd check:
If the files exist locally but are consistently skipped during OpenViking import, that would help establish whether this is a limitation or a bug in the repository importer. As for when support might be available, I wouldn't want to guess at a release date without confirmation from the maintainers. Could you share your OpenViking version and whether the missing images are regular repository files, Git LFS assets, or images referenced from Markdown? Hope this helps! |
Uh oh!

Why does OpenViking fail to pull images when pulling files from a remote Git repository? When will this feature be available?
