ZeGrapher

Build Status

ZeGrapher example

ZeGrapher is free, open source and easy-to-use software for plotting mathematical objects.

Official website: https://zegrapher.com/

Features

ZeGrapher plots functions, sequences, parametric equations and data in the plane. Objects can share constants and variables. It imports and exports CSV, and it exports the graph as an image or a vector file, identical to what you see on screen.

For more information, see the feature list and the user documentation.

Translations

ZeGrapher and its website are translated into several languages:

Corrections and new languages are welcome.

Download

Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, Arch Linux and FreeBSD carry ZeGrapher in their official repositories. A distribution takes a while to pick up a new release, so its package can be older than the newest one.

The releases page on GitHub and zegrapher.com both carry an AppImage for Linux, and bundles for Windows and macOS.

Compile from sources

To compile from sources, ZeGrapher needs the following tools and libraries:

If the system does not have glaze or ZeCalculator, meson downloads the missing library while it sets up the build. So a build needs only the first four, and a build without network access needs all six.

To build

meson setup build
cd build
meson compile
cd ..

This creates the ZeGrapher executable in build/src/ZeGrapher that you can directly run.
