One Sentence Summary

A viewer can drag a widget on an older dashboard and have it stay where they dropped it, instead of the move being refused.

ACs Covered

  • A widget dragged to a new position keeps that position on a dashboard whose widget types were resized after the dashboard was last saved.

Decision Log

Should a dashboard's stored widget sizes be updated to match its widget types, or only drawn at those sizes?

Each widget type's size is now saved onto the dashboard's stored widgets when the dashboard is drawn, rather than used only for drawing while the stored sizes stay as they were.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

A dashboard stored before a declaration changed kept the old size, and the
server checked moves for overlaps against it while the grid drew the new one,
so every move was refused.
