Reviewer's GuideThis PR completes per-track synced-lyrics correction by persisting normalized offsets in AsyncStorage, applying them consistently to lyric highlighting, scrolling, and tap-to-seek, and exposing a bilingual in-player nudge sheet with reset/save controls. Regression tests cover storage and timing behavior plus the key UI wiring contracts. Sequence diagram for per-track lyrics offset and nudge sheetsequenceDiagram

LlamaPReview — Conditional code-review clear
The lyrics shift appears to be safe to merge: a zero default means playback is unchanged until a track gets a nudge, and the sound and tap-seeking paths were checked against the lyrics code for the offset.
Exact-head CI remains unresolved (1 pending); no CI-dependent merge-safety claim is made.
3 non-blocking findings retained — highest: A saved nudge can quietly fall out once more than 500 tracks have offsets.
Change flow
One scalar threads through the lyrics view in two opposite directions and is stored per track, which is easier to see than to read.

Finding details
P2 · A saved nudge can quietly fall out once more than 500 tracks have offsets.
modules/lyricsOffset.ts
The save step builds the map, writes the entry, then removes the oldest entries by their position in the track list. If the track is already in the map, its written entry keeps its original early position, so that entry itself can be chosen for removal. The function still returns the non-zero value after saving a map that no longer holds it, so the chip shows the value as set. The user only learns otherwise after restarting, when the chip returns to plain "Sync". It needs more than 500 stored offsets, and a first-time write for a new track is safe, so this is a small cleanup item.
Owner action: Remove the track's entry before writing it again in setLyricsOffset (so the touched track sorts last), or drop the oldest entry using a saved time or usage marker instead of track position.
Verification boundary: needs verification; scope: changed region.
P2 · A save failure is swallowed and can leave a nudge that only lasts the session.
components/FullPlayerModal.tsx
The read path already falls back to an empty map on failure, but the write path awaits the storage call without handling a failure and the sheet's save and reset handlers await it without a catch. If the write fails (quota or disk), the save action rejects: the sheet stays open, no state update or message appears, and the in-memory value already holds the nudge that was not saved. That means the chip can show the nudge for the rest of the session even though it will be gone after restart. This only happens on an unobserved storage failure, so it stays low.
Owner action: Wrap the storage write in a try/catch, keep the in-memory value and stored value in sync on failure, and show a small failure message.
Verification boundary: needs verification; scope: changed region.
P2 · The new offset test file has no runner, and nothing covers the 500-track edge.
tests/lyrics-offset-regression.cjs
The package has no test script and no reference to the new file, and the one workflow read at head only checks the PR title; the build check was skipped. The new file's UI checks match text in the player source rather than running the sheet, and nothing covers the 500-entry bound or the chip value after a restart. Other workflow files exist and were not read, so the lack of a runner is not proven, and missing coverage alone is not a defect. Adding the script and a bound check would lift confidence.
Owner action: Add an npm script and a CI step that run the offset test file, and add a case covering the 500-entry bound.
Verification boundary: needs verification; scope: changed region.
Material unknowns
- Whether the new test file runs green and whether the type check passes at this exact head; no supplied CI job produces either result. If the type check were to report a real type error in the new chip border, sheet header, or shared label helpers, that would become blocking rather than a confidence item.
- Check: Run the offset test file and the type check on this exact head, or point to a CI run that does, and check for a real type error in the new chip border and sheet header references.
- Whether another workflow such as the React Native CI workflow runs the type check or the new test file. A real runner would raise confidence in the new test file; its absence keeps the test gap item as written. It would not change the product behavior.
- Check: Skim the remaining workflow files under.github for a type check or test step.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Clear the previous track’s offset while the new offset loads.
When the track changes, lyricsOffsetSeconds retains the previous track’s value until getLyricsOffset() resolves. If synced lyrics appear first, line selection and tap-to-seek use the wrong track’s offset. Set a neutral offset when the track changes, or associate the offset state with its track ID.

Make Earlier and Later change the offset in the correct direction.
applyLyricsOffset() adds the offset to playback time. Increasing the offset therefore displays each lyric earlier, but Earlier decreases it; Later has the opposite mismatch at Line 3196. Swap the two adjustments or their labels so the controls produce the stated result.

Keep editor actions tied to the track that opened the editor.
If playback changes from track A to track B while the editor stays open, Save writes track A’s draft under currentTrack.id for B. Reset at Line 3220 can likewise clear B’s offset. A track change during either awaited write can also apply A’s result to B’s visible lyrics. Close or reinitialize the editor on track change, and check the captured track ID before applying an async result.

Do not replace a failed storage read with a writable empty cache.
If AsyncStorage.getItem rejects while offsets already exist, load() caches {}. The next setLyricsOffset() writes that partial map and erases the previously stored offsets. Let the read error reach the caller and clear inflight so a later operation can retry. Keep the empty-map fallback for malformed stored JSON.

Keep the cache consistent when persistence fails.
If AsyncStorage.setItem rejects, cache already contains the new offset. Later reads return an offset that will disappear after an app restart, even though Save or Reset failed. Commit the new cache only after a successful write, or restore the previous cache on failure.

…ommon.save Three defects from review of #37. setLyricsOffset evicted from the front of insertion order, so on a table already over the 500 cap a re-nudge of an older track deleted the entry just written. Eviction now skips the key being written (sabotage-verified: reverting makes the new check fail). applyLyricsOffset returned position + offset unclamped, so a negative position or a NaN input propagated into the lyric lookup. Now clamped to >= 0 with NaN handled. The nudge sheet's apply button called t("common.save"), a key present in neither locale file, so it rendered the raw key. Added to en and fa, with a regression check that fails if either goes missing again. 9/9.
Math.round(NaN * 10) survives every clamp and serialises to null in the stored JSON, so a bad nudge silently corrupted the per-track offset. Fail closed and return the offset that is actually stored. Numeric strings stay usable. Found by the new lyrics-offset scenarios.
Part of #37 — completes the missing half.
