2. Main Window

1. Menu bar: Contains menus for interacting with the Tag Hierarchy Manager database files amongst other things:
   1. File
      1. New database: Creates a new database.
      2. New from import: Opens a window for creating a new database by importing an existing MusicBee tag hierarchy template.
      3. Open: Load an existing database.
      4. Export: Saves the tag hierarchy database into a MusicBee tag hierarchy template.
      5. Quit
   2. Database
      1. Database settings: Opens a window for setting the default tag binding, as well as detailing the version of the current database's schema and the amount of tags and parent/child relationships in the database.
      2. Recently added/edited tags: Opens a window showing the most recently added and recently edited tags.
   3. Help
      1. About: Displays an about window.
2. Sidebar: Allows switching between the hierarchy tree and search panes.
3. Hierarchy tree: Shows the working hierarchy tree, with the tag's name and tag bindings shown. When a tag is selected, it is loaded in the tag editor (5)
4. Add tags buttons: Two buttons that activate the tag editor (5) for single tags, or a new window for adding multiple tags at once.
5. Tag editor: The main part of the view, for inputting tag data, activated with a blank slate when "Add new tag" is selected, or the selected tag in the hierarchy tree. It contains text boxes for the tag name, tag parents, tag bindings, aliases, user notes, a check box for setting whether the tag is top level in the hierarchy tree, and buttons to save, cancel the edit, and delete the tag entirely.

Search pane

The search pane contains the following:

• a text box for the search query
• a check box to search inside aliases as well as names
• a button to execute the search
• a combo box to choose the search mode (see below)
• the list of search results

The following search modes are available:

• Fuzzy search: All tags that merely contain the search query.
• Starts with & Ends with: All tags that start/end with the search query.
• Exact match: All tags that are exactly the search query.

Hotkeys

• Ctrl+S: save the currently loaded tag
• Ctrl+E: export the current database
• Ctrl+B: activate the bulk add window
• Delete: asks to delete the current tag
