Closes #864

This also displays evaluations based on branches instead of channels. It applies retroactively.

Took a while to clean it up, and even then it remains a rather invasive change. Tying everything to channels was deeply ingrained into everything, but removing that simplifies a number of things.

This change looks huge, but actually simplifies a number of things:

- Evaluations are dispatched simply by adding them when we fetch new branch tips.

No detour through channel triggers any more.

- Grouping of channels is gone, we just show the release branches and package versions on each of them.

- Don't garbage-collect channels any more, they take no significant space.

- Remove code that touches anything related to channels.

This is where most of the diff comes from.
