it looks like there's also changes for numlock support in the pr, should that be a separate pr so this one's just for fireworks? |

Sorry about that! I've rebased the branch onto master and dropped the numlock commit. This PR now contains only the changes for the fireworks animation (and I've also updated the commit message format as requested). |
