Read per-market probabilities from the Reports API's top-level outcomes (2.3.1) - #50
Conversation
…es (2.3.1) The Reports API is dropping the outcome rows from each `versions[]` entry and returning the pinned version's `outcome_probabilities_json` at the top level (OctagonAI/octagon-api#1569). Without this, the cache path would lose the per-outcome rows and fall back to the event-level model_probability, which for a multi-outcome event is usually the first outcome's value, and flag it as an explicit model estimate. Edges for every non-first market would be computed from the wrong outcome, and provenance (model_probability_source, evidence_grade) would come back null. - mapJsonToReport reads the top-level `outcome_probabilities_json` first, then the older `versions[0]` `outcome_probabilities` / `outcome_probabilities_json`. - browse's structured fallback lists outcomes from the same place. - ReportVersion drops event_ticker, name and outcome_probabilities; the response type gains name and outcome_probabilities_json. Works against both the current and the new API shape, so it ships first. Report parsing checks response-level probabilities before falling back to version-level data. Tests cover pinned-version parsing and JSON serialization of array-form probabilities. The API evidence does not establish whether that combination occurs, so this remains a limited compatibility risk. 🚥 Pre-merge checks | ✅ 5✅ Passed checks (5 passed)

contractSnapshot fell back to versions[0].outcome_probabilities_json, which the Reports API no longer returns once it moves the pinned version's rows to the top level (OctagonAI/octagon-api#1569): the snapshot would silently come back empty. It now uses the rows mapJsonToReport already resolved (top level first, then versions[0]), and keeps an array as JSON text instead of String(array).
