Layers the jobs, datasources and an env-driven application.yml on partnersinhealth/petl, built and pushed by the build and release workflows, as apzu-etl's image is. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

verify.yml builds the project and the image on PRs, update-versions (a no-op: no dependencies) is
removed, and containerName placeholders default to empty (${...containerName:}).

…s on a tag that just moved check-petl-base (distro-tools' etl-base-image-affected) compares the Dockerfile's PETL_BASE_IMAGE default with the tags petl published; a project pinned to another version skips its build and deploys. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Replaces rebuilding on petl's dispatch: the Dockerfile pins partnersinhealth/petl:latest by digest, and Renovate (renovate.json, PETL base image only) opens a PR when a newer image is published for that tag, merged automatically once its checks pass. A project pinned to a version tag isn't touched by a new latest. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Part of TASKS-598. Builds
partnersinhealth/ces-etlonpartnersinhealth/petl, the same way as apzu-etl's image (MLW-1865):datasources/,jobs/and an env-drivenapplication-docker.yml, with no secrets in the image. The build and release workflows push it, taggedlatestand the version../build-runtime-docker-image.shbuilds it locally onpetl:local. The
cesciOpenMRS datasource and thewarehouseSQL Server datasource map onto distro-tools'PETL_MYSQL_*/PETL_SQLSERVER_*. Other sites' datasources can be set by their Spring env names.Merge after PIH/petl#50. The
deploy-to-ces-cijob still targets the legacy host. A follow-up PR at the ces-ci cutover switches it torun-petl-via-runner.ymlon appclstr-01.Testing: built locally and ran
create-partitions.yml refresh-cesci-data.ymlend to end against a local ces-emr instance with the CES seed. It succeeded on H2 and SQL Server job stores, creating 28 tables inopenmrs_ces_ci.Consistent with the other ETL projects: update-versions is removed (no Maven properties to update), and containerName placeholders default to empty (
${...containerName:}, which needs PIH/petl#50). Merge after PIH/petl#50.PETL base image: builds on
partnersinhealth/petl:latest. Rebuilding when a new PETL image is published is TASKS-611 (dependency update tooling). Merge after PIH/petl#50 (merged), since the${name:}defaults need it.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
