When you select an extension in the tree you see the corresponding CREATE EXTENSION statement. However in this statement the extension name is not quoted and therefore the statement fails for extensions whose names have to be quoted.
Reproduce:
CREATE EXTENSION "uuid-ossp";
- The extension uuid-ossp (for working with UUIDs) is created.
- Select this extension in the tree and observe the CREATE statement:
- Expected:
- The generated statement is
CREATE EXTENSION "uuid-ossp" ... because the - makes this name a name that must be quoted.
- Observed:
- The generated statement is
CREATE EXTENSION uuid-ossp ... which leads to a syntax error at or near "-".
I'm using version 1.23.0b.
