## California Assisted Living Waiver Facilities

The [California Assisted Living Waiver county tracker](https://californiacarecompass.com/data/california-alw-county-tracker-2026) covers 1,224 participating facilities across 15 counties, with facility contact details, coordinates, licensed capacity and county totals. The data is derived from the California Department of Health Care Services' public ArcGIS service. Downloadable CSV and JSON files, a data package, license and reproducible source script are available in the [companion open-data repository](https://github.com/asafichaki/california-alw-open-data).
