Request a PID for Si473x Radio (JG3PUP)

  • Device: A portable AM/FM/SW/SSB receiver (Si4732) with local DSP. It works as a USB composite device: UAC1 microphone (48 kHz stereo, received audio) + CDC (control from a web remote / PC software).
  • Chip: ESP32-S3 (ESP32-S3-WROOM-1)
  • Why a custom PID: The composite UAC1 + CDC configuration differs from the default TinyUSB/Arduino descriptors. A dedicated PID avoids Windows driver/descriptor cache conflicts with other ESP32-S3 boards and keeps the COM port stable for users.
  • Maker: JG3PUP (individual, small production run)
  • URL: https://github.com/jg3pup/Si473xRadio_Ver6

Resolved the conflict: 0x83D5 was taken in the meantime, so I moved my entry to the next free PID 0x83D9.

Resolved the conflict again: 0x83D9 was also taken, so my entry is now 0x83E0.
If it conflicts again before merging, please feel free to renumber it to the next free PID (maintainer edits are allowed).
