Topology view not creating connection if circuit is in the path

The topology view does not create a connection between devices, if there is a circuit in the path between them - Is this intended?

This behavior is currently expected, as the plugin relies solely on cable connections in its existing implementation.

I have plans to enhance this in future versions.
