Please review my comments:

• Why is the fact that VAL does not support LinuxONE marked as deprecated?
  • It's very odd that CentOS was chosen as an example, yet the page is dated February 2026.
  • Because it is only supported in VAL v6, and only for CentOS version 7.x.
• Important: Full image-level (entire machine) backup and restore is not supported.
  • It would be better to clarify that and point to the Bare-metal Recovery user guide.
• Make sure that your secondary volume is properly configured before you install the Veeam software on the instance. In the following example, it is expected that an ext3 file system exists on the secondary volume and mounted on /veeam_disk.
  • It would be better to tell the user in advance that this will be used as the target — where the backup data will reside.
• Installing and configuring
  • Considering that the first sub-step shows installation of the release RPM, it would be better to mention it; otherwise, the user does not understand what is being downloaded.
• I assume the CentOS virtual server comes with all the necessary software requirements for Veeam.
• To complete a backup operation of a volume on the CentOS virtual server instance, follow the steps that are outlined in the Veeam Agent for Linux 4.0 guide
  • This points to version 4, which is too old. It would be better to point to version 6, considering the guide is about CentOS.
• General recommendation:
  • Run tests on the latest version, v13, and present it to end users — or at least provide two pages, one for v6 and one for v13.
