I'm Vaios, usually Jacke. I build peer-to-peer networking tools, reproducible systems, and software I can run on my own machines. I run Bitcoin and Lightning nodes, go down Nix rabbit holes, and work across systems programming, open hardware, and AI-agent tooling.

A peer-to-peer VPN over HyperDHT, with C++ and JavaScript implementations and a native Android client. Reach your machines across NAT without a publicly reachable VPN server.
Built on hyperdht-cpp, my C++ implementation of Holepunch's HyperDHT protocol, designed for wire compatibility with the JavaScript reference.
nixtropic — open firmware, hardware-held keys
FIDO2 / WebAuthn and OpenPGP-card firmware for the Tropic Square TS1302 devkit, using its TROPIC01 secure element. Reproducible builds with Nix.

nixtcloud — a personal cloud you can rebuild
NixOS images combining Nextcloud and Holesail P2P access for small ARM boards. Declarative infrastructure, your own storage, and remote access without router configuration.

hades — robotics architecture, software agents
A self-hosted C++20 AI-agent harness inspired by MOOS-IvP: a manifest defines the agent; a shared blackboard connects modules; an arbiter gates proposed actions.
The robotics side lives in claude-marine-robotics: reusable skills and subagents developed while building an autonomous surface vessel.
cln-hub — wallet access to Core Lightning
A Rust Core Lightning plugin exposing an LndHub-compatible HTTP API so compatible wallets can use accounts on your node. Custodial by design; work in progress.
CLN-plugins handles Nix packaging and declarative integration for upstream Core Lightning plugins.
