Took a VC-backed music business platform from idea to revenue as sole technical founder. Raised £250k+, defined the product strategy, led UX research and design, and built the entire stack — frontend, backend, architecture, and cloud infrastructure — with full end-to-end ownership throughout.

Worked across co-founder matching, market validation, and early fundraising — developing the ability to test working relationships at speed and communicate a vision clearly enough to convince the right people to build with you.
Thespie — Lead Engineer (2020 – 2022)
Led the engineering function at a theatre discovery platform, owning the full stack, cloud infrastructure, and key architectural decisions. Grew and mentored the team through technical hiring, established development processes, and kept the product shipping through the disruptions of the pandemic and into recovery.

Built rights-management infrastructure at the intersection of blockchain and the music industry, working alongside major labels and rights organisations. An early, rare opportunity to design and ship production systems in web3 — across React, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, AWS, and Solidity — before the space had established patterns.

Owned the full lifecycle of an iOS travel app — from product discovery and technical scoping through to App Store launch. Sole engineer responsible for all technical decisions, building across React Native and a type-safe event-sourced backend.
