I would like to suggest an enhancement to the LDAP plugin in osTicket. It would be extremely helpful if the plugin could also read users from Active Directory (AD) groups. For each group, we could configure the following settings:
Account/Status and Settings: Customize settings for each group member.
Access/Primary Department: Assign users to specific departments based on their AD group membership.
Permissions: Set specific permissions based on group memberships.
Teams: Automatically assign users to teams.
Additionally, the users imported via LDAP could appear in the agent list, but with a visual distinction (e.g., greyed out), indicating that they were added through LDAP.
