Support loaded-linker installation state in pnpm/update lockfile refresh #75

Description

@zkochan

Goal

Make pnpm/update's refresh-lockfile: true discard installation state for the loaded linker before reinstalling. Its current scripts/update.sh removes only node_modules and pnpm-lock.yaml, leaving the loaded linker's .pnpm current lockfile available for reuse.

This follows pnpm/pnpm#16482 and should be validated against a pnpm build that includes nodeLinker: { type: loaded }.

Completion criteria

  • The action removes the current installation lockfile for both the default isolated and loaded layouts before requesting a refresh. Account for explicitly configured installation directories rather than deleting an unrelated directory named .pnpm.
  • With refresh-lockfile: true and update-deps: false, a test starts with an older resolution and a newer matching registry version, runs the action, and verifies that the wanted lockfile is freshly resolved rather than restored from installation state.
  • Existing isolated-linker refresh tests still pass.

Close this task when the action change and these tests are merged in pnpm/update.
