I knew this would have to eventually be added so now is as good of a time as ever to go ahead and start brainstorming how we want to go about doing this.
I feel there are two major milestones that need to happen before we take this on.
- Caching / Saving: For performance reasons we need to come up with a better way of running stats, so this needs to be thought about before we start guided practice.
- Design: I would like to have a in depth understanding of how we're going to implement the guided practice. I think a fresh mockup of the dash page is in order before we start pounding away code. I think it would be nice if the guided practice can run hand in hand with what is already in place. The gist of it is that we need to give 'guidance' to a user coming in, recommending exercises that they can take to start off. A good example would be recommending chapter 1 content, then moving on to chapter 2, etc.
