[Bug] No controller or keyboard input reaches the stream on macOS (M3 Pro) — controller detected as #2 #1664

Description

@mato8199

Describe the bug

**Describe
No input reaches the stream at all — neither the Xbox controller nor the keyboard-to-gamepad mapping. The controller is correctly detected in Settings, but nothing is sent to the game.

Under "Controllers detected" it always shows up in slot #2, never #1:

The keyboard mapping does not work either — with "Enable Keyboard to Gamepad" enabled, pressing Enter (mapped to A) does nothing, so I cannot even navigate into a game.

*Things I tried (no effect)

  • Granted Input Monitoring and Accessibility permissions to Greenlight, restarted the app
  • Toggled Enable Keyboard to Gamepad, Enable Mouse & Keyboard, Enable vibration on/off
  • Re-paired the controller, restarted the Mac
  • Launching from Terminal (/Applications/Greenlight.app/Contents/MacOS/Greenlight) — same result. Launching with sudo breaks authentication (library won't load, since it runs as root)
  • Clicking inside the app window before pressing keys

Separate issue: Bluetooth permission breaks the app
Granting Greenlight the Bluetooth permission in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth causes the xCloud library to stop loading entirely (endless loading spinners). Disabling that permission makes the library load again.

Expected behavior

Environment

- OS: macOS 26.5.2 (Build 25F84)
- Device: MacBook Pro M3 Pro
- Greenlight version: 2.4.2 (universal .dmg)
- Controller: Xbox Wireless Controller (Product ID 0x02FD), connected via Bluetooth
- GPU Info: ANGLE (Apple, ANGLE Metal Renderer: Apple M3 Pro)

Anything else?

  • The controller works correctly everywhere else: gamepad-tester.com (all buttons register), Xbox Cloud Gaming in Chrome/Edge, and macOS Game Controller settings
  • Only one controller is paired; verified via system_profiler SPBluetoothDataType that no other gamepads or phantom HID devices are connected
  • The stream itself loads and plays fine — the problem is purely input

New issue

  • I confirm that this is a new issue and not a duplicate
